Gas well explosion reported in Robertson County

The Robertson County Sheriff's Office is reporting a Gas well explosion late Saturday night.

It happened on a sight on Discovery Lane which is just off of Henry Prairie Road around 10:20 pm.

According to company officials, there is no danger to the public but you should expect to hear and/ or feel some additional smaller explosions over the course of the night. Emergency crews will remain on scene to maintain security and safety.
