GRIMES COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX) - The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension's Grimes County Office is hosting a CEU recertification program. The five hour program is for landowners with Private Applicator Licenses and will be held on May 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Navasota Livestock Auction Barn.
Topics covered at the event include laws & regulations, fire ant management, pasture weed identification and control, insecticides used around livestock pens and drift minimization when spraying chemicals.
Pre-registration for the program is $60 and people must register before May 7. Organizers will provide lunch. Those interested should call the Grimes County Extension Office at (936) 873-3907.
