Several law enforcement agencies are searching for the driver of a truck involved in a high-speed chase Tuesday.

The chase started when the driver refused to pull over during a traffic stop, according to authorities.

The chase ended in the 2400 block of Barker Prairie just south of Millican near FM 2154 and Highway 6. Law enforcement officials say the suspect ran away from the truck after it stopped.

He's described as a white male, 5'9", blond hair and was wearing a light blue t-shirt.

During the chase, the vehicle went up and down Highway 6 from Brazos County into Grimes County and drove into the city of Navasota before it ended up near the Millican area.

Several law enforcement agencies are still in the area looking for the suspect who may be hiding in the woods. A helicopter from the Department of Public Safety is also there to assist agencies involved in the search.
