Houston man charged in theft at Post Oak Mall jewelry store

COLLEGE STATION, Tex (KBTX)- A Houston man is one of three suspects charged for two thefts at a Post Oak Mall jewelry store.

Lorenzo Lee Moore, 21, was taken into custody Monday. Moore was arrested in Walker County last week.

Authorities say he was an accomplice to a robbery at Kay Jewelers at Post Oak Mall in January.

Moore and two other men are accused stealing 13 diamond pieces valued at around $90,000.

Moore is charged with theft of more than $30,000, a third-degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and theft of property worth more than $2,500, a state jail felony punishable by up to two years in a state jail.

He remains in the Brazos County Jail on $55,000 bond.

Trevione Terry and Damarcus Carter were also charged in the theft.

Jail records show they were arrested in Houston.
