Twenty-five cadets are in college station for a Jewish Warrior Weekend from schools including the Air Force Academy, Ameherst College, Colorado State, the Virginia Military Institute, Princeton and Texas A&M.
Saturday afternoon they had a tour of the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum. They also heard from retired Air Force General Norton A. Schwartz.
"The advice is start on day one building your competence in your chosen field and then the rest will take you where your talent will allow," said Schwartz.
"The point is to serve your country, do your job and it's for the overall mission. It doesn't really matter you know what religion you are, what race you are. It doesn't matter. It's all about serving your country, bettering yourself and bettering your community and of course bettering your country so that's what we're trying to get across," said Zachary Bugalla, a Virginia Military Institute Cadet.
For many in the group it is their first visit to Texas.
