Local boy thriving after successful bone marrow transplant

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - A local boy is thriving after receiving a successful bone marrow transplant at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.

Today, you'll even find Colby Ash competing in triathlons.

During his time at Texas Children's, one non-profit was there to provide support during his recovery. His Grace Foundation is an organization through Texas Children's Hospital.

Colby's mom, Tracy, and the Executive Director of that foundation, Valerie Anderson were on First News at Four Thursday to share Colby's story and how the group saved his spirit.
