WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX)- A recent Brenham High School graduate was killed early Monday morning after his pickup truck crashed and rolled over in Washington County, according to DPS troopers.
It happened on FM 2621 near Randermann Road northeast of Brenham, said DPS Sgt. Jimmy Morgan.
Investigators say 18-year-old Rhead Robbins was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his pickup after it rolled. Troopers believe he was attempting to take a curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle.
Robbins was a member of the 2018-2019 Brenham football team.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
