Louisiana-based sports bar plans to open location in area

The “#1 Sports Bar in North America” is heading to Aggieland. After all, what better location for a restaurant called Walk-On’s than the Home of the 12th Man?

Walk-On’s Enterprises co-founder and owner Brandon Landry announced today that the company has executed a Franchise Agreement with two proud Texas A&M University alumni to bring Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar to the Bryan/College Station area. A location has not been determined at this time.

“We recently opened our first Texas restaurant in Lubbock and we’re thrilled to continue our expansion throughout the Lone Star State,” said Scott Taylor, Walk-On’s Enterprises President & COO. “We look forward to working with the franchisees as they scout out the perfect location in the Bryan/College Station market and begin construction in this dynamic part of the state.”

Walk-On’s is renowned for its signature Louisiana-style menu served up in a game-day atmosphere by our All-American Team.

In May 2015, New Orleans Saints superstar Drew Brees and his wife, Brittany, bought into Walk-On’s Enterprises as co-owners. Drew pointed out that Walk-On’s is “a great place to bring my family, teammates and business colleagues” and that they were excited to help “expand the brand across the nation.”

Walk-On’s now has 12 locations: four in Baton Rouge, two in New Orleans, one each in Lafayette, Houma, Shreveport, Lake Charles and Bossier City, La., and one in Lubbock, Texas. Other locations are coming soon in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas, with several additional markets across the Southern U.S. likewise on the drawing board.
