BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - A Williamson County man was arrested Thursday after he was caught trying to meet up with a teenager for sex.
According to officials, 53-year-old Arnold Elkins engaged in sexual conversations with a person he believed to be 15-years-old. Turns out, the teen he met online was an undercover sergeant from the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
Officials say Elkins contacted the child on a social media app. During the conversation, he agreed to meet up at a location in Bryan and engage in sexual activity.
However, when Elkins arrived to the predetermined meeting location, he was arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.
