COLLEGE STATION, Tx. (KBTX) The new bike-sharing service VeoRide delivered 800 new rental bikes to the Texas A&M campus Monday morning.

VeoRide recently entered into an agreement with Texas A&M to provide teal-colored rental bikes and will have over 2,500 bikes by month's end.

They replace ofo, another bike share company that ended business in the community last month that had multiple problems that VeoRide hopes to not repeat.

"If we are out and about and we are showing that we care about these things, then hopefully they will too. Plus a lot of people rely on them," said Spencer Dickerson with VeoRide.

VeoRide will have a staff of 15 people patrolling campus to maintain the bikes.
