BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - For the first time since since 2008, the Atlantic has for named storms simultaneously.

Hurricane Florence is the biggest concern as it is a day or so away from making catastrophic landfall along the Southeastern US Coast. This hurricane downgraded slightly from a Category 4 to Category 3 hurricane with winds sustained at 115mph.

Hurricane Helene and Tropical Storm Isaac continue to slowly move along their forecast path. Sub-tropical Storm Joyce formed in the far Eastern Atlantic around 3:30pm (CDT).

The Gulf continues to be monitored for what will likely be a tropical depression by Thursday evening -- at the latest.

Latest details -- as of Tuesday evening -- are in the video above.
