Highway 6 reopens following multiple accidents in Robertson County

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX) - Traffic is now flowing again following a pair of collisions that shut down Highway 6 in Robertson County Wednesday.

The first accident happened at around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday between the Old Fractec Building and the Weigh Station on the Highway. The two vehicles involved were an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck pulling a boat.

According to DPS Troopers, the truck with the boat tried to make a u-turn in front of the 18-wheeler when the accident occurred. The pickup truck driver will receive a citation. The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The second accident was south of the initial crash.
