When you walk into local businesses around the Bryan College Station area, you'll notice more and more with new stickers on the front door.

Good Bull BBQ is partnering with Nift, a company that gives out gift cards for just for walking in the door.

"You go in and create a profile with what you like to do or what you shop for what you normally like around town or the kind of food even. Then it populates gifts for you that the restaurants or shops have provided," said May, General Manager at Good Bull.

He says it's a great way to get people in the door.

It also helps him learn more about his customers.

"It tells us if you're tracking with new customers or repeat customers so it helps us track and metric. Are we reaching more people or are more people coming to our restaurant for the first time," said May.

Nift is currently in Boston and Washington DC with over 1.8 million consumers and almost 3,000 businesses.

Elery Pfeffer, CEO of Nift, has visited BCS several times as things get off the ground here.

"We started introducing Nift into the community about 3 or 4 weeks ago."

They now have 25 businesses on board and are looking to add more.

One of the reasons Pfeffer picked the community is our strong economy.

"I love the community there. I love the people. I think they're good people. They match our values and I'm looking forward to expanding our office there," said Pfeffer.

Just a few of the other businesses partnering with Nift include Aggieland Outfitters, Sabbi Boutique, and Crossfit Aggieland.

The company is also looking to hire about 300 people locally. You can find a link to their website in the Related Links section of this website.
