CALDWELL, Tex. (KBTX) - Last week, employees at Copperas Hollow Nursing and Rehabilitation Center noticed their paychecks were bouncing.
It's not the first time this has happened to employees either. Back in June, KBTX reported the same issue.
At that time, the facility was owned by a company called Concord Health Group. It's a company based of New Jersey that runs nursing homes in Texas.
Managers at Copperas Hollow said they had a number of issues.
"Trying to get some supplies or vendors paid, mainly. We'd get repairs and everything would be taken care of but things weren't paid as rapid as they should have been. But the bounced checks, that's enough. That's it," said Jonne Young, Director of Assisted living at Copperas Hollow.
This week, employees got some welcome news. An Arlington-based company called Southern Cross Senior Care will take over.
"When they walked in the building, the relief was unbelievable because we had finally gotten an answered prayer," said Young.
The new management says it's working to make restitution for employees. Southern Cross was chosen by the landlord to take over.
KBTX reached out to Concord Health Group for answers about the bounce checks but have not heard back.
