BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Enjoy Thursday? Sunshine? Mild, seasonable temperatures? Friday will be a great day to get out to...just about 10° - 13° cooler. Next cold front takes over.
A breezy north wind kicks up during the pre-sunrise hours of Thursday, ushering in a cooler batch of air to the Brazos Valley.
Morning mid-40s across the area may actually feel like the upper 30s and low 40s when you factor in a brisk wind gusting to 25mph at times shortly after sunrise. That north wind continues to gust between 25 and 30mph stunting an afternoon warm up. Highs are only expected in the upper 50s for much of the Brazos Valley.
Back to -- at least -- a light long sleeve Friday.
Sunshine is expected to become muddled as a weak area of low pressure slides across the south side of Texas through the start of the weekend.
More details on what to expect in the wake of the next front is in the video above.
