All four Brazos County Volunteer Fire Departments now have brand new oxygen masks for animals.
Brazos County Precinct 3 Volunteer Fire Department showed KBTX their masks. The pet oxygen masks come in small, medium, and large sizes.
The mask acts like a muzzle and can be used to help restore breathing in cats, dogs, and birds.
All volunteer fire departments in the county have all the three sizes in each fire engine.
All volunteer fire fighters in Brazos County are trained on how to perform pet CPR.
The Brazos Valley Kennel Club donated the masks to the fire departments.
