In the event of an emergency, families often prepare a plan for themselves and their children, but what about their pets?
Last summer during Hurricane Harvey, thousands of pets were left behind and the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine sprang into action to help. This week for Pet Talk, we're talking about how to prepare for this upcoming hurricane season.
Monday, Angela Clendenin with the Veterinarian Emergency Team appeared on BVTM and talked about the importance of preparing a "go bag" for your pet complete with items like a travel water bowl, leash and pet ID forms and information. Watch the video for a full breakdown of what to pack!
