BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - This week on Pet Talk, we're talking about the bond between humans and their pets. Kit Darling, Infection Coordinator at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, appeared on Brazos Valley This Morning Monday to talk about how a pet can help just about everyone.
"The human-animal bond is the relationship between people and animals and it's good for the health of the person as well as the animal," said Darling. The reasons she gives include unconditional love, companionship and managing stress.
