Free disaster preparedness event canceled

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY (KBTX) - UPDATE: Organizers were forced to cancel the event scheduled for Sept. 14 because the first responders who were set to present have been called to respond to hurricane threats. See below for original report.

The Texas A&M Superfund Research Center invites you to plan ahead with the help of experts.

The "Plan Ahead, Be Prepared" event is free of charge. Participants will learn how to protect their homes and pets while also planning with first-aid kits and evacuation routes.
