Texas Game Wardens are investigating a drowning at Lake Somerville.

They received a call on Tuesday around 6:45 p.m. about a man who fell off the back of a jet ski.

Neither the operator or the passenger were wearing the required personal floatation devices, according to Texas Parks and Wildlife.

The possible drowning victim was found around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning, according to the Burleson County Sheriff's Office.

TPWD says the victim was a mid-20s Hispanic male from the Houston area.

The search efforts included game wardens, DPS Troopers, local agencies, and a TPWD K-9 unit.

The body was sent to Austin for autopsy.

The Texas Game Wardens are now investigating the case.
