According to Bryan Texas Utilities' website, a power outage affected Bryan residents Friday night.

The online outage map for BTU says approximately 3,300 customers were without power Friday evening. The outages spanned from Highway 21 to Briarcrest Drive/Villa Maria Road.

No reason for the outage has been provided at this time. There was a report of a transformer fire in the William J. Bryan Parkway area, and another of power lines down on Villa Maria.

For this or any power outage, BTU has an online map to see updated outage totals. It is linked with this story.
