BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - A fallen tree caused big problems for some BTU customers in Bryan Wednesday.

More than 650 customers lost power earlier in the day. Some traffic signals, as well as businesses and homes, went dark.

Bryan Texas Utilities officials say a tree fell on a power line. It knocked out power along the Villa Maria Road corridor and south of Downtown Bryan along Texas Avenue.

Power was restored around 1:30 p.m.
