BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - For families experiencing hardship this holiday season, the Salvation Army is once again stepping in to help.
The Angel Tree program facilitates local donors to shop for families in need this Christmas to help provide gifts for their children.
If you would like to register your children to be recipients this year, go to the Salvation Army located at 2506 Cavitt Avenue, Bryan.
The original deadline to register was October 13, however the Salvation Army has extended that deadline to Wednesday, October 17 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
They have also extended office hours on Monday, October 15 for working parents. On that day, you can stop by the office between 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to register.
For more details on what you need to bring, see the flyer attached.
Furthermore, the Salvation Army is in great need of volunteers to help with Angel Tree intake during that same time frame. If you are interested in helping, see the Related Links.
