Course registration for the spring semester technical and community education courses begins today at Blinn college.

Ken Dupre, the Director of Technical and Community Education joins us on BVTM to talk about some of the classes they are offering this semester.

Blinn still have some of the old classes. Right now they're enrolling for certified nurse aide, pharmacy tech (that is available online), medical secretary. Blinn college is hoping the classes they're offering will attract job seekers. New classes include supervisor of construction trade, and a plumbing program. The school is currently searching to hire a contractor to teach these courses.

You don't have to have a high school diploma to enter in most of the courses. Blinn does not ask for high school transcripts. Registering in classes is a one page form you fill out. It's simple; just stop by 301 Post Office Street in Bryan and register for your classes.
