Ryan Crocker, ambassador under President Bush, remembers his impact

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Ryan Crocker was the Bush 41 Administration's U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon. Years later, he would become dean of the Texas A&M Bush School of Government and Public Service.

On First News at Four, Crocker spoke of his former boss' impact not just on his own life, but on the history of the United States.

"The four years that he served were, in a way, the most challenging that our nation faced, at least in recent times," said Crocker, "and he was completely masterful in his handling of multiple crises."

Crocker also remember's the president's kindness.

"He appreciates the people who served him; he wanted to get to know you," said Crocker. "It all made a really big difference."
