Missing Robertson County man found safe

9:10 p.m. update -

Authorities in Robertson County say a missing man has been found safe.

"A huge thank you to Robertson County Volunteer Fire Departments, Robertson County Constables, Franklin Police, Calvert Police, Hearne Police, Bremond Police and DPS," said a statement Monday night from the Robertson County Sheriff's Office.

No other details about his disappearance was immediately available.


Authorities in Robertson County have issued a Silver Alert for a missing man who has Alzheimer's disease.

The alert was issued on Monday afternoon after William "Howard" Honea, 88, went missing.

Honea left his home on FM 979 around 11:30 a.m. in a 2011 silver Lincoln Continental with license plate DH6L692.

Authorities say he could be traveling to the Bryan-College Station area, and was wearing blue overalls and a white t-shirt.
