BRAZOS COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX)- A Sherman youth track coach has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile in Brazos County.

According to records obtained by KBTX, 31-year-old Keith Craddock was transferred from Sherman to Bryan on Friday morning.

The alleged incident involving a 16-year-old female from Sherman happened last summer at a Bryan motel between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on July 28, 2018, according to a DPS report.

Craddock and the accuser were in Brazos County for a track meet with the Sherman Elite Track Team, a private organization.

The accuser told investigators Craddock entered her hotel room by using a "coach's key card" and "got on top" of her. She told investigators that he used a condom and asked to record the assault, but she said "no."

According to the DPS report, Craddock admitted to the sexual assault and claimed the accuser entered his room first and then lied about her age.

Investigators were able to recover cell phone data from Snapchat that revealed the accuser sent several sexually explicit photographs and videos to Craddock in July 2018.

Craddock remains in the Brazos County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
