COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - College Station police revealed Friday that 16 additional warrants have been issued for Sigma Nu Fraternity members who were at the Sigma Nu house during the party that resulted in the death of Anton Gridnev.
The warrants issued in this case are for six new individuals, not the four that were already placed into custody immediately following the August 20th incident.
The warrants are the result of the investigation into the drugs that were discovered during a search of the Sigma Nu Fraternity house after first responders arrived.
All six men were residents of the Fraternity House at the time of the incident.
The warrants range from Possession of Marijuana to Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Investigators are currently working to get these men into custody. Their names will not be released until they are arrested.
The investigation into the death of Anton Gridnev is still active.
The 19-year-old was celebrating his birthday weekend when he died. Police believe he may have overdosed on several drugs including ecstasy, hydrocodone, Xanax and maybe heroin.
