Students, staff evacuated after bomb threat at Huntsville High School

After further investigation, the Huntsville Police Department determined the message received by Huntsville High School was not a credible threat.

All students and staff are being allowed to return to the building to resume normal operations. Huntsville ISD is appreciative of everyone's cooperation and patience during the investigation, especially for the quick response from law enforcement.


According to Huntsville ISD, Huntsville High School received a message this morning shortly after school started that appears to be a Bomb Threat.

All students and staff were immediately evacuated and are safe outside at this time following a preliminary investigation and sweep of the building.

A thorough investigation is currently underway with law enforcement.

No one is being allowed to enter or exit the campus at this time for multiple safety reasons. Please avoid this area until an all clear has been issued.
