Suspected drug dealer arrested after traffic stop

BRAZOS COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX) - A suspected drug dealer was arrested after he was caught speeding by a DPS trooper Wednesday.

Authorities say 30-year-old Brandon Hollie was speeding on FM 2154 near State Highway 40.

The trooper thought Hollie looked nervous. After refusing consent to search the vehicle, a K-9 unit was brought in. The dog alerted to the truck and after a search, the trooper found about 15 grams of meth along with a scale and plastic baggies.

There were also several needles with meth hidden in the door along with some pills.

Brandon was arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Two passengers in the car were also charged with possession.
