Texas A&M police find missing student

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - UPDATE: Police say he has been found and they are with the student now.

According to police, a passerby saw Duane Nyamari on a sidewalk in Bryan. The passerby contacted the Texas A&M University Police Department. With the assistance of the Bryan Police Department, officers met with Nyamari. Nyamari was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital for evaluation.

Texas A&M University Police are asking for help tracking down a missing student.

Duane Ochoki Nyamari was last seen at 11 a.m. Friday at his residence in Mosher Hall at Texas A&M University.

Officers have reason to be concerned for his well-being, according to university officials.

Nyamari is an 18-year-old black male. He's 5’11” tall, weighs 158 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red zip-up hoodie, blue jeans, blue Skechers brand athletic shoes without laces and glasses. He usually wears a lion tooth on his necklace.
