BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - The holiday weekend has officially begun meaning Christians around the world are preparing for Easter Sunday. Aside from church, Easter Sunday usually means dinner with family.

Local mom and food blogger Kelly Anthony stopped by BVTM to share the recipes of some of her favorite Easter treats.

All of the recipes featured on the show are available on The Anthony Kitchen website.

First, Kelly gave some pointers on spring cheese and snack trays. spring cheese and snack trays.

She suggests you pair two stronger cheeses with a third, more mild flavor. Adding honey to blue cheese will cut the flavor a little, and adding apricot jam and almonds to brie cheese will add some layers of flavor.

The next recipe Kelly made was a banana pudding trifle. Her website provides recipes for homemade vanilla pudding and homemade whipped cream. She says the dessert will look pretty on your Easter table and can be prepared at least a day in advance!

Finally, Kelly whipped up a few sweet treats that the kids can help you with! The egg hunt blondies are chewy blondies topped with buttercream icing and M&M candies. The Anthony Kitchen website also features an easy trick to make the frosting look like grass for an Easter egg hunt topping!

The final recipe is for simple and kid friendly chewy M&M sugar cookies.
