BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - British Prime Minister Theresa May remains convinced March 29 remains a realistic Brexit date, despite the European Union urging Britain to delay its departure.
So how does Brexit affect us here in Texas?
Dr. Raymond Robertson with the Texas A&M Bush School.
He is a political economist that researches international economics.
As far as economic impacts, Robertson says they've been relatively small, but do not bode well for the future. EU immigration is down, but non EU immigration is up. The exchange rate is down, but exports are up. Foreign investment, especially in banking and cars, is down.
