Thousands travel to College Station for 4-H Roundup

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - Students from all over Texas have come to College Station to compete in the 4-H Roundup. Weston and Randy took a break from their events to appear on Brazos Valley This Morning on Tuesday.

The Texas 4-H Roundup is a qualifying and invitational event for 4-H youth who placed in a district level roundup or signed up to compete in one of the invitational events. Weston says over 4,000 people are registered to participate.

The Texas 4-H Roundup has around 50 diverse competitions that tie in with the many projects that 4-H has to offer. Events cover topics from food and nutrition competitions, robotics and public speaking.

In addition to competitions, the 4-H Roundup also features service opportunities like LEAD Academy and Texas 4-H Roundup.
