Tips on driving in wet weather

With all of the flooding in the Eastern and Southeastern parts of Texas, there are certain things you need to look out for to make sure you, your passengers, and your vehicle are safe.

Darrel Fikes with Christian Brothers Automotive in College Station gives us tips If you absolutely have to drive in wet conditions.

For example:
-Cars can be pulled off the road by just a foot of moving water.
-Standing water could be concealing a felled power line.
-Dry brake pads by gently tapping them; they will respond better when dry.
-If a vehicle stalls while in standing water, abandon it and head to higher ground
