A town hall meeting this week in College Station will address the issue of drugs and crime in our community.
The event is being organized by Strengthening Families of the Brazos Valley.

The goal of the Town Hall will be to raise awareness and to develop a plan of action for addressing crime and quality of life concerns by determining community safety objectives through questions and discussion with participants. Invited panelists are: College Station Police Department, Watch UR BAC, TAMU SGA Legislative Relations, Save Our Streets (SOS) Ministry, behavioral and treatment experts.
SFBV is a new project within the Family and Community Health unit of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension that seeks to provide couples and individuals with the tools they need to create and maintain healthy families.
Funding for this project is provided by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families
