Treat of the Day: Demond Oliver retires from the Bryan Police Department

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Demond Oliver, with the Bryan Police Department, is retiring after 22 years.

Oliver joined the Bryan Police Department in August 1996.

Demond Oliver started working patrol until he transferred to the Brazos Valley Narcotics Task Force in 2000.

As a Sergeant he supervised patrol for 8 years, the Neighborhood Enforcement Team for 6 years, Direct Deployment Team for 1 year.

He was a member of the Tactical Response Team for over 15 years.
Oliver received multiple awards for his service over the years, including the Medal of Valor.
