Two vehicles damaged by fire at College Station High School

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- Two vehicles were damaged by fire Friday afternoon in the parking lot of College Station High School.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Several witnesses tell KBTX a student attempted to start his pickup truck and that's when it caught fire. The fire then spread to an SUV that was parked next to it.

Some of the students were kept inside the school as a safety precaution as firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the fire, according to several students.
