That's 15-year-old Nick's motto--in basketball and in life.
"Yeah, why not?" said Nick. "Just keeps my pulse going."
This eighth grade student loves being active, but he also likes school--both math and reading.
"I just like the words," Nick said, "how they sound."
Nick is also learning lessons in the hallway between classes.
"I hate bullies," said Nick. "I step in and help, just to try to calm it down."
"Everybody deserves the right to be treated right," Nick said. "Everyone deserves equal."
Nick feels the same way about the home he'd like to live in someday.
"Why not?" said Nick. He says he would want the potential future home to be "bright."
Nick pictures a family as a team.
"Just helping each other out," said Nick. "Working together."
...And playing together.
"Do some board games or whatever, or ride bikes," Nick said. "Go fishing--I want to go fishing."
Nick has dreams for his future family. After all--
