Wildlife safari park slated to open in Brazos County in 2019

KURTEN, Tex. (KBTX) - A new wildlife safari park is expected to open in Brazos County in the Spring/Summer of 2019.

According to the website, the Aggieland Safari is an Aggie owned and operated organization born from a love of animal stewardship and dedication to conservation.

KBTX reached out to the people behind the park who said they could not release the exact location just yet, but that it would be located off of Highway 21 in Kurten on 250 acres of land.

The park will feature a drive through safari, a wildlife center and a covered pavilion. The park is designed to be a unique and exciting outdoor experience for families and people of all ages.
