COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - A Spring woman was arrested for trying to pull a fast one on a gas station clerk in College Station.

Police say Davastine Moore, 55, gave the attendant a $100 bill as part of a quick change scam last April.

Moore pumped $11 worth of gas and asked for the bill back to pay with smaller denominations.

According to police, after Moore had the $100 bill back, she swapped it for a $10 bill and told the clerk he gave her the wrong one. That's when the clerk handed Moore another $100 bill.

Authorities say the clerk realized the mistake after Moore left and checked the security footage.

Moore was arrested Tuesday and charged with theft.
