On the Issues:
Healthcare: Jaramillo wants affordable healthcare for all.
"We need to have safety nets such as low standardized prices across the board, protection for pre-existing conditions and then pass Medicare-For-All," said Jaramillo at the Candidate Forum on Jan. 25.
Immigration: Wants to invest in technology to keep track of who is coming into the U.S. as well as make it easier to for people to come into this country legally.
"Right now we have a limited amount of immigration judges. We have less than 500 judges for the United States," said Jaramillo. "For fiscal year 19, we had over 2.2 million online applications. How can less than 500 judges go through 2.2 million, plus the hard copies?"
VA Benefits Reform: Believes the VA system needs a complete reform.
