Andrew Wesley “Andy” Riley, 72, of Navasota passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. Visitation with family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, also at the funeral home where Jeff Riley will preside. Interment will follow in Peach Creek Cemetery in the Peach Creek Community near College Station. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel of Navasota.
Andy was born December 5, 1944 in Navasota to Charlie and Ruby (Clark) Riley. He joined the U. S. Army during high school and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1965. He worked as an engineer for General Telephone for several years. Andy was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. He enjoyed collecting antiques, coaching little league and T-ball, he was a beloved ‘Paw-Paw’, father, brother and friend.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents; his life partner, Patsy Muston; and brothers, Bobby Joe, James, Carl and Ronald Riley.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Elizabeth Riley; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Clarence Moehlmann and Sandra Riley; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffery and Karen Riley and Donald Riley; step daughters, Danette Hicks and Kim Parker; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Floyd Luce, Ysidoro Ramirez, Dennis Moehlmann, Jeren Riley, Dustin Avila and Dwayne Avila.
