Prosciutto Shrimp


10 deveined shrimp
Salt and pepper
Olive oil
Whole butter
Julienned prosciutto
1 tsp minced garlic
Half Cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup White wine
Chiffonade of basil
Chiffonade of mint leaves
1/2 cup cream
Cooked Penne pasta
1/3 cup English peas
A sprinkle of parmesan cheese


Place peeled, deveined shrimp on a flat surface and sprinkle with salt and pepper

Add olive oil and an equal amount of whole button in skillet. Add shrimp. Allow to cook for a few minutes before adding Julienned prosciutto. Add tsp of garlic. Allow cooking longer before adding mushrooms. Continue cooking then add white wine. Continue cooking then add in cream, penne pasta, and English peas. Add chiffonade of basil and mint leaves and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Always add herbs towards the end. Continue cooking until shrimp is fully cooked.

Plate, serve and enjoy. It feeds two.
