A&M Consolidated baseball beats Rudder 4-2

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- The A&M Consolidated baseball used a four run fourth inning to beat Rudder 4-2 Friday night at Tiger Field.

With the game scoreless, Colson Sledge hits a shot to left center that easily drives in Carson Kerbel and then when the throw to third gets away from the Rudder third baseman, Sledge is able to touch em all to make it 2-0.

Later in the frame, Josh Hernandez's shot back up the middle drives in Conner Kaiser and Justin Conrad for a 4 - 0 lead.

Rudder will score a pair later in the game, but the Tigers hold onto win it 4-2. A&M Consolidated will be back at home on Tuesday for a 7 pm game against College Station. Rudder will travel to Brenham on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
