A&M In Third, Play Suspended at Aggie Invitational

BRYAN, Texas -- Play was suspended due to darkness after a pair of lengthy weather delays at the Aggie Invitational on Saturday. An early thunderstorm brought through rain and lighting, which significantly pushed play back. Another delay came late in the day, nearing the completion of Round 1. The tournament will resume on Sunday at 8:30 a.m., but due to the setback, the tournament has been adjusted to 36 holes.

A&M currently sits in third, shooting 5-under 271. Freshman Sam Bennett leads the way as he is tied for second shooting 4-under (60). Sophomore Walker Lee and junior Brandon Smith are tied for seventh, shooting 2-under as both were playing well through the final holes of the opening round.
