WHAT THEY SAID

Head Coach Jo Evans

On today’s performance…

“We have to tip our hat to LSU. They’ve been hitting the ball really well and scoring a lot of runs. When you have a good hitting team that hits through the lineup, it puts yourself in a tough situation. I was pleased in the first inning to see them go out there and strike the ball to score a couple runs. {Kelbi} Fortenberry went out there and got herself on. Riley Sartain beating out that attempted double play was huge. Then Haley Lee getting up and getting her homerun, to soar us right back in it. I like the fight I saw right there.”
