Alpha Omega's season ends at TAPPS State Championship in 50-0 loss to Bracken Christian

HEWITT, Texas (KBTX) -- The Alpha Omega Academy Lions gave up a 74 yard touchdown run by Presley Day in the 3rd quarter making the score 50-0 as Bracken Christian won the TAPPS Division II Six Man State Championship Thursday afternoon at Panther Stadium.

Bracken Christian held Alpha Omega to just four first downs and was able to score on all but three offensive possessions in the game that was called courtesy of the 45 point mercy rule.

Alpha Omega ends the season with an 7-4 record and a state runner-up finish while Bracken Christian completes a perfect 13-0 season and wins the schools first state championship since the 2010 season.
