Big second half propels Highland Park over College Station

WACO, Tex. (KBTX) - Behind Chandler Morris' three second half touchdowns, the Highland Park Scots took down the College Station Cougars in a battle of 2017 5A state champions at Waco ISD Stadium.

College Station hung on to a 13-7 lead at the half, but the Scots came out slinging in the second half. Morris threw for touchdowns of 86 and 73 yards and rushed for a 29 yard score to put the game out of reach.

College Station finishes the season 9-3. Highland Park advances to face Mansfield Timberview in the third round.
