HOUSTON, Texas -- A Kyle Edwards brace ensured Brazos Valley Cavalry took maximum points from their road game against Albion Hurricanes.
The striker opened the scoring on nineteen minutes when a long ball forward from defender Mark Lindstrom was met by the prolific Edwards and he fired beyond Daniel Bermingham in the Hurricanes goal. Cavalry doubled their advantage on the stroke of halftime when Devin Boyce evaded four challenges before picking Thomas Menke out at the far post who headed home from close range.
The second half began the same way the first ended with Cavalry in control and with just three minutes played Kyle Edwards had his second and the Cavalry’s third of the evening for the final score of 3-0.
Cavalry are next in action on Saturday 1stJune 2019, when they travel to face Corpus Christi FC.
